Chipola Indian........Dayne Read

Friday we went to Chipola's 1st baseball game of the season and Dayne's 1st REAL college baseball game. Dayne hit the ball hard every time and his first at bat was a triple. He also made an awesome diving catch in center field that would have been a Web Gem if ESPN would have been there. Lance Bailey started for them too. I can't believe how much he looks like his Uncle T-Nort. Just as long as he doesn't act like him. We will be back to watch them at lot more this year I am sure.

Tanner thinks he is something special because he gets to go on the field and in the dugout with the real baseball players. He got Dayne's triple ball and had Dayne sign it.

You better take these boys to the National Championship again this year, Coach J.
GO INDIANS!

Happy Birthday Nate

Nate is 3!

Have fun with Mickey Mouse!
We Love You!

Playing Outside

When we got home from Tallahassee on Tuesday the weather was absolutely beautiful. So we stayed outside and played. Conner got in the sandbox for the first time He and Tanner were both swinging on the swing set. It was so nice to just enjoy my boys and have fun!

Conner 4 months

On Tuesday Conner went to the doctor on Tuesday. He was only 13lbs 9 oz. and 23 3/4 inches. He is soooo little. Even smaller than Tanner was at this age. He is so much fun though. He is the happiest baby I think I have ever seen. He is laugh or smiling all the time and he is happy to be laying on the floor or in his saucer or just whatever. God has definately blessed us! I just hope it lasts.

Nate's Birthday

This is so Nate. He has spent most of his 3 years rolling around, acting crazy, but always having FUN!

I wonder where he gets his craziness from, his daddy maybe?

The party was at the fire station in Bristol. All the kids got to climb in the truck and blow the horn and then we got them all on the back for a picture! This party was such a good idea and the kids loved it!

Nate wasn't too sure about the loud sounds.

Mamoo was having fun just holding Conner. She did get in the birthday party spirit with her fire hat!
What a cute cake! Nate sang Happy Birthday to himself, then blew out the candles so he and Tanner could eat the icing.

I think Tanner had a few pieces of cake like this, where just the icing was gone.

Conner was 4 months old on Saturday. He is getting so big. He looked so cute in his fireman hat!

Sarah we had a great time on Saturday. I can't believe our boys are growing up so fast. Maybe you can have a few more so we will always have a baby in the family.

FOOOOOOD!

Real Food!

I can't wait until tomorrow when I can eat real food. We have been on a 21 day Daniel Fast with our church since the 1st and it ends tonight at midnight. We haven't eaten bread, sweets, meat, or caffeine in 21 days!

So tomorrow Jeff and I are not going to eat anything healthy. We have had our share of fruits and veggies for at least 3 days!

I have to work tomorrow so I will be up early.

I am having Oreo Cakesters and this maybe my breakfast along with a Coke.

Jeff wanted beef. I went to the grocery store and Jeff said "Get lots of ground Beef. I want a big fat hamburger."

And bread, oh bread, soft fresh Merita Bread! You just don't know how much you miss it until it is gone.

So if you see our light on at midnight tonight, it is because we are eating!

But really we have been doing this for more important reasons. Fasting and praying for 21 days has brought us closer to God and our prayers will be answered because Our God is Good!

Bad Mommy?

I was reading the Liberty Journal (yes, it is Wednesday) and Conner was playing in his saucer, or whatever that thing is called, when the phone rang. It was Sarah and we talked for a little while. Conner was on the other side of the bar in the kitchen so I couldn't see him, but he was awfully quiet. When I got off the phone this is what I found.

Does that make me a bad Mommy?
If it helps I did get him right out (after taking a picture) and put him on the bed.

Last night we went out to see the International Space Station as it went over us. We got all bundled up and went out at 6:55 like the news said and this is what we saw. The news man said it would look like a really bright star and this was the only bright star we saw in the sky so we thought this was it. Jeff pointed at it and told Tanner what it was and that the astronauts landed there. I wasn't sure that this was it because it was suppose to be moving. We came in and a few minutes later I made Jeff go back out to see if that "star" had moved. No, but the International Space Station was moving fast across the sky. I thought it was really cool for Tanner to see it because he loves rocket ships, but I don't think he had a clue what he was looking at. One day he will understand and will think it is cool too!

2 little boys & 1 big BOY!

Saturday we went down to the creek because the weather was beautiful and we just needed to get out of the house. Tanner drove his Gator down there and Jeff rode in the back. Tanner thought it was hilarious. If anyone would have seen it they would have thought Jeff was crazy. When we got down to the creek Tanner threw rocks like he always does and Conner even got to throw in his first rocks with a little help from Daddy. I can't wait until spring and summer when we can go down there more!

Who knew learning to throw rocks could be so intense?

Conner throwing his first rock in the creek.

Tanner had to find the biggest rocks possible. I wonder who showed him that?

I Love all my boys, BIG & small!

Gymnastics

Tanner started back Gymnastics on Monday. He did great. I am so amazed that he is learning to follow direction and also learning a few gymnastics moves too. He can do a forward roll by himself and almost has a backbend and cartwheel. He gets a little distracted by a little girl in is his class (oh no, distracted by girls, starting way too soon.) and you can tell when the 45 minutes is up, he is not paying attention at all.
I took a few pictures with my new camera that are a little better than the last ones.

My Favorite Time of Day

The other night Tanner & Conner were both in their beds asleep at 8:45. I took advantage of it and went to sleep too.

(and I thought there matching PJ's were cute too)

Santa was Good to Us

especially to YaYa and Earl.

He brought them a new boat.

The day after Christmas they left to pick it up in Fort Lauderdale. They had to bring it all the way around Florida and up the west coast. They did get to spend 4 days in the Keys. I felt so bad for them being on that boat in the Keys. :) Too bad we couldn't all go.

The new Cari Lynd is very nice and has some nice features, like an ice maker in the fish box and satellite tv!!!

We went to Carabelle and picked them up on Jan. 2. They were very happy to be off the boat after 8 hours of straight driving in the rough seas.
While we were at the dock we got to watch the sunset. It was beautiful and reminded me that God is good all the time!

Mighty to Save

Last Sunday we went to Aunt Shelley's church where she leads the music. They sang "Mighty to Save" a song we sing a church sometimes. Shelley did a few hand motions that Tanner picked up on. I found him singing in the play room today. One day he is going to be a STAR!

(excuse the mess, it is the play room. and excuse the video skills, Tanner has to see the screen so I had no idea what was being videoed.)

There is another video on YouTube search TannerD
