Day 25- A Stay Home Kind of Day

Today we cleaned the house, helped Mamoo redecorate, and swam in the pool...we just stayed home.

Gulf World Day 24

We went with Hosford summer program to Gulf World today.
My favorite was the dolphin show, but the kids wanted to spend all their time trying to touch the sting rays.















These two were the only ones that took a nap too!

Trousdell Pool- day 23

We spent the afternoon at the pool. The big kids all passed the swim test to be able to swim in the 10 ft deep pool. The had to swim the width of an Olympic size swimming pool overhand the whole way.



Conner and Malec had a great time too.

















We are having so much fun this summer!!

Finally

Day 22
Tanner came home tonight and is snuggled up tight in his bed tonight. I sure did miss this boy!

Day 21

Making Brownies-day 20

Tanner is gone with Bryce on a trip so it's just Conner (and tropical storm Debby). So tonight we made brownies for dessert. Yummy!!

Day19

Rainy weather means rain boots.

We did absolutely nothing around here. I was sick so I laid in bed all day.



Hop Hop came to Jeff with pen marks around his mouth and this is the conversation they had...

Jeff: son do you realize you have written all over your face?
Conner: yeah
Jeff: why did you do that?
Conner: I wanted to look like a crazy tiger!

Day 17

Like every other Friday night we were at M180. Tonight was special because we had baby Georgia's Dedication. It was precious and there was not a dry eye in the house.










Conner loves Georgia.



Tanner was exhausted, to say the least.

Day 16-Playing Cards

We stayed home today and cleaned everything! We did a little card playing too. Conner just wanted to play with the chips and Tanner tried to beat me at Go Fish, but I am the master! We had fun just chillin' today!

Conner went for a night swim while poor Tanner is sick with a stomach bug.
Hopefully we will have more fun tomorrow.

Day 14-Beach Day

We made a last minute decision to go to the beach so we invited some friends and went to St. Andrew's park in PCB. It's so nice for the kids to play in the protected area and swimming at the jettys is fun too. What a beautiful day it was.

Day 13

The boys and I made breakfast for Jeff this morning. We didn't get up early enough for breakfast in bed but we did serve it to him.


We went to the river house later and the boys went for a boat ride with Papa Earl and PawPaw.

The boys swam and played in the river.

And wrestled with Uncle Matt.

We have some awesome Fathers in our family!

Day 12-Jammin Out

We also went to Walmart and Conner rode on the bottom of the buggy. Pretty funny, if you ask me.

River-day 11

We had a quick visit to the river house today. I was beautiful! Hopefully we can spend more time down there soon.

Staying Cool in the Pool

Day 10...


Not much going on around here today. Just hanging out in the pool.

Day 9 of Summer...

Was mostly spent without electricity...ugh! It was hot and we didn't have water or tv. Apparently the transformer at a nearby substation exploded at about 2am. Conner woke up at 3am crying because it was dark as a dungeon in our house. That's when we realized thar there was no power.



We drove by and EVERYONE from talquin was working on it. The power came back on about 12 hrs later. Thank goodness!






The boys enjoyed playing video games while there was nothing else to do.
Hopefully this will never happen again. Me + no AC = bad mood
