Talk about a Bad Hair Day!

Problem is he has 2 cowlicks on the back of his head.
Thank God for boys, but this would be a cute pony tail.
(check out those chompers)

A few of my favorite moments..

from last week.
(haven't posted in a while, need to catch up.)

We put the blow up slide out by the pool and let the kids slide in. They had a blast. Who knew this would be so much fun?!
Conner wasn't to sure about the water hose
Tanner went in head first
.
Nate used his swim ring, but loved it!
Conner really enjoyed his popsicle.
.
Tanner & Rylee being silly
Chaff had this huge slide at his birthday party. Tanner absolutely loved this.
We had to try to keep them from hurting each other.

Chaff's pirate cake

On rainy days, we usually get out the tents or stuff out of the closet that we never play with. Well this days I was feeling extra creative (or messy) and built a whole fort. We put the cushions over the table and made a tunnel with tents on both ends. Nate called it the :Attic". (I'm sure this has something to do with some superhero, but I don't know what it means). They all really had fun a played in it for a long time. Man, I'm glad we have boys!

Conner also turned 11 months old last week.

(picture is on Mom's camera)

He is walking very good now. He walks more that he crawls and doesn't want any help. He started saying "di-di-di" which we say is "dada", but still no "mama". He can make Indian noises and blow kiss (sometimes with Indian noises too). He loves to play with Tanner or just in Tanner's room. Everyone says "he is the sweetest baby. Does he ever cry?" Well he doesn't cry very often, mostly when he is hungry (and man he can eat) or when he doesn't get his way. He is learning to pitch fits, by throwing stuff and laying back on the floor and screaming. But all in all he is a REALLY GOOD Baby! I can't believe he will be 1 next month!

Kids say...

the darndest things...
Conversation from last Sunday
Jeff: "Cari, where are Tanner's plain shorts?"
Cari: "Maybe in the dryer."
Tanner (a few minutes later): "Mommy, where are we going?"
Cari: "To church"
Tanner: "Oh, I thought we were going flying."
Cari: "What, why did you think we were going flying?"
Tanner: "Daddy said I had to wear my plane shorts."

Conversation in the car yesterday (this one is gross)
Tanner: "Mommy..."
Cari: "Yes"
Tanner: "I can't get this booger back up my nose and I don't want to eat it!"

He didn't get that from his Mama

This morning Tanner came inside and said, "Mommy, I need a clean towel." I gave him a paper towel, then I looked outside and saw him cleaning his gator. I don't know where he learned about cleaning cars. Certainly not from me, mine is a mess and stays a mess. Must have seen Uncle J clean one once.

What a Mess

Tanner & Nate cut the cake too.

but a beautiful mess.
Conner got into my birthday cake and Earl just let him get chocolate everywhere. But he was precious. Just a little practice for what's to come next month.

Zoinks

Yesterday we went to Zoinks for the kids to have a little fun time. Well, I dropped Jeff & the boys off at Zoinks and I went shopping.

They all had a blast. Snapped a few pictures when I came to pick them up.

Conner Walking

Conner started walking about 2 weeks ago. I finally got some video and time to upload it. Since this video was taken a few days ago he is walking better and getting more and more brave.

Wow! Kids grow up so fast.

Busch Gardens

Jeff had a conference in Tampa, so we took advantage of it and went for a little get away. While we were there we went to Busch Gardens. This was our first time taking both kids to an amusement park and it was definitely more work, but we had a great time.
The boys love the "mingos".

A lady thought I was crazy putting Conner on the train, but what I didn't tell her was he rides on the gator with Tanner and it goes 100 times faster that that train.

Of course we had to see the Clydesdales.

Tanner wanted to ride every ride, but he wasn't tall enough yet. This one was pretty scary, it went up about 4 stories and then dropped straight down. He said, "It made my heart scared and running."

One of the birds just flew up and landed on Jeff.

Tanner riding on the hippo.

Riding on the train.
Jeff used to work on the train at Busch Gardens. I hope he did a better job talking than the lady we had, we didn't know anything she was saying.
We stayed at the park until it closed at 9 p.m. We were all exhausted, but had a great time.
