Last Wednesday the boys went to see Dr. Ben, the dentist. Tanner was such a big boy and let Ms. Crystal clean is teeth. Conner & Jeff played video games while we waited. He had a “tiny” cavity according to Dr. Ben, but we had it filled right then with only a little “laughing gas”. NO SHOTS! Conner got his teeth looked at too! He looks so big. Dr. Ben said, their teeth looked GREAT! Keep up the good brushing!

Last weekend while Jeff was out of town, the boys and I went to Destin. I would have been beautiful if the wind wouldn’t have been blowing a million miles per hour. But that didn’t stop YaYa, Tanner, and Conner from feeding the birds on the boat. We had a great time. Thanks YaYa and Earl!

Tuesday was the first practice for the Preble Rish Pirates, Tanner & Nate’s t-ball team. They played “Coach Says” to learn how to listen. They ran around the bases a lot. Everybody got to hit and play all the positions on the field. They were so cute! I can’t wait for their first game April 6th.

Tanner is Hard Headed and so am I. Wow, that is not a good combination.
A few nights ago, I told him to get out of the bath tub and dry off while I was putting Conner’s pj’s on. He stood in the bathroom and screamed, “I can’t. I’m cold.” for 5 minutes. While I’m yelling back “if you’re cold, wrap up in the towel". Still screaming and crying, it turned into a Stand-off. I just wasn’t going to wrap him up in the towel that he was perfectly capable of doing himself. (trying to teach him some independence.lol.) And he just wasn’t going to dry off himself. So he finally stopped screaming, I guess when he had air dried, and ran around the house with no clothes on. Then I told him to go put on some pj’s. He went in and got them out and I helped him put them on. Maybe we learned to pick our battles, or We Both WON!
(these are just some silly pictures, not faces he made at me during the stand-off.)
