Play Ball
Conner started off opening day of t-ball crying. Not just crying but loudly wailing so that everyone could hear him. He was on the field just standing there crying. Finally after lots of talking, threatening, and bribing he finally got on the field ( with yaya for a while). Then all of the sudden he was fine. He ran after the ball and hit it and ran around the bases like nothing ever happened.
Thanks to Grant and Luke for being patient with him, because I had lost my patience for sure.
Next week will be much better, I hope.
Tanner, on the other hand, did awesome! He hit the ball every time without the tee. He fielded the ball like a pro!
I was one proud mommy.

Ballin'
This is the beginning of a whole new world for us...Tanner and Conner are both playing baseball. The bad thing is that they are playing different age groups. Conner is beginning his first year of t-ball! I am so excited that he REALLY gets to be ON the team this year. Tanner is playing coach pitch, REAL baseball. It is already getting a little crazy. They are both practicing on Tuesdays and Thursdays at different fields. And Jeff has to practice with both of them (I work on tues and have gymnastics on thurs).
Here we go...

Just a question
How many paper towels does it take to clean up a whole pitcher of sweet tea? An entire roll!!!!
How do I know? This cute little thing "asadently" spilled the whole pitcher of YaYa's sweet tea (which has considerably more sugar than regular sweet tea) across the bar yesterday. It went on the floor on both sides and covered the entire bar and everything that was on it. I could have killed him!!!! But that cute little face with those cute little dimples just looked at me with those big brown eyes and said "it was an asadent". I just told him to go outside and wash off with the water hose ( it was 80 degrees outside, therefore it was fun and not punishment) while I cleaned up with an entire roll of paper towels and hot water, then mopped twice.
That kid!!! Thank goodness he is cute, that makes it way harder to get too mad at him.
